The Best BBQ Ribs This Side of Heaven

I love to cook – but am not so good at grilling. My sister-in-law gave me this recipe for mouth-watering, fall-off-the-bone, tender, juicy ribs. They make an amateur griller like me look like a master.

Get you some meaty babyback ribs. One rack of ribs will serve about 3 people. If you’re feeding some hungry men, each rack will probably serve only two!

I cut my racks into sections (3 ribs in each section).

Massage your favorite rib rub into each rib section.

Put ribs on the grill. Baste honey on top side of ribs while you sear the other. Flip ribs. Baste with honey again while searing the other side. Flip one more time. Cook just long enough (briefly) for the honey to melt onto the ribs.

After searing, place those juicy ribs into a roasting pan with 1/4″-1/2″ of water.

Slather on more honey.

Cover tightly. I seal those babies up with foil then put the roasting pan lid on top.

Bake at 200 degrees for 5-6 hours.


Lather ribs with BBQ sauce.

Cook on additional hour. You can raise the heat to 350 degrees for the final hour if you want to.
