Hay Bale Chair Condensed 2

Hi friends! Some of you may be wondering what’s been happening at The Warming House. If you stopped here over the past two weeks, you encountered a jumbled mess! I have been stuck in the land of technological chaos. My site crashed and it took about a week to get everything back in order. Thanks to my new hosting service, Digital Medium, we were able to recover all my posts. Whew!

In addition to that, my husband and I have been working feverishly to establish a new ministry. A big announcement and reveal is on the horizon –  once our website is up and running!

In the meantime, I’m grateful to report the approval of our not-for-profit. The IRS notified us about two weeks ago. This is a tremendous miracle considering the fact that we applied in June of 2013 – just three months prior. A friend who applied in 2012 hasn’t been approved yet. When he contacted them recently, the IRS indicated they are just now processing applications from April of 2012! Again – we are so thankful and give credit to God.

More exciting news! I’ve been birthing a new book. It’s message emanates from the deepest places of my heart. In recent years, God has refined this message through many life challenges and heartaches. Although I’ve definitely complained and whined through the “waiting,” it’s crystal clear to see how important this refining process has been not only for the message of this book, but also for my development as a loyal Christ-follower.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers (& sisters), whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:3

In writing this book, I’m excited to say I’ve passed the “vomit” draft where every thought and idea was “thrown up” into the book. I’ve also passed through the personal editing draft, and progressed to the third and final stage – the editorial draft. I now have a set of qualified and objective eyes to help me polish this message. Yay!

I’ll keep you posted on progress toward publication. Once I get the ISBN, I’ll share the title too.

Thanks for hanging in there with me! Sure appreciate your presence here. No matter what you’re experiencing in your life today, know without a doubt that you have a friend in me. Unconditionally.

Lisa~
