Awestruck Wonder in the Mountains

Print Friendly

Welcome Warming House friend!! This week I’m basking in the glorious beauty of the mountains with my family . . .

mywarminghouse.comAnd a few of their friends . . .

Revisited the place where my husband and I first met on March 24,1989. Makes me feel so grateful for the hard-earned years of a committed marriage.

Mid-Vail lift line where we first met on left. On right is building where we hung out after skiing later that day.

Love the view I wake up to each day.

In the mountains I’m reminded of the “largeness” of God . . .

His power and creativity . . .

The undeniable evidence of His existence . . .

The way He pursues us in whimsical love. Every snowflake, every mountain crest, every icy stream, every towering tree flocked in snow . . . God painting the landscape to delight us and demonstrate His love for us.

And it steals my breath.

Makes my “heart” bow down in awestruck wonder.

Wishing you moments that steal your breath today.

Glad to see you had such a good time. It’s where I live (about an hour south of Vail)… we are so blessed to see those mountains daily out our front door! Blessings to you Lisa!
