A Christmas Tablescape and Sweet Blessings
I hope you’re enjoying the Christmas season. We had a great night tonight enjoying some of God’s sweetest blessings . . . family, friends, fire in the fireplace, and decorating cookies together. So thankful!
Hope you’re creating great memories with family and friends this Christmas too.
When guests come for dinner, treat them to a beautiful table. Here’s my Christmas tablescape this year using items I already had on hand.
Sprigs from my hinoki cypress and boxwood are beautiful tucked into this napkin. Nature offers the greatest gifts.
This tablecloth is one of my favorites. I purchased this one at Target many years ago. Love pulling it out each year.
This faux pine is nestled on a white cake stand with a berry garland wrapped around its base. My hinoki is very small so I had to use artificial greenery in the centerpiece. Fresh is much better. Sprinkled a little fake snow around the edges for a wintery effect.
Here’s another idea for your tablescape. Buy a white fabric tablecloth to drape your table with. Have some fabric markers on hand when guests arrive for Christmas dinner. Have everyone sign and date the tablecloth. Maybe even write a little note. Each year, use the cloth adding more signatures. A great way to capture memories through the years.
Wishing you God’s sweetest blessings.
Happy Christmas!
