Pork Chops on the Grill
Warmer weather means outdoor cooking. Here’s a fantastic recipe that’s perfect for summer grilling. It’s my sister-in-law’s creation – and one of our family favorites.
Lisa D’s Pork Chops
Thick-cut boneless pork chops
Bacon slices (partially cooked in microwave)
Red onion sliced
Green pepper sliced
Tomato sliced
Cheddar cheese slices
On top of each pork chop stack in the following order:
Two bacon slices
One red onion slice
One green pepper slice
One tomato slice
Use toothpicks to affix all the layers to the pork chop. Cook on grill over medium-low heat for 45 minutes. When meat is done, add a slice of cheese to the top of the stack. Cook until cheese is melted. Enjoy!
Serve with steamed rice, steamed broccoli (with or without cheese sauce), Musselman’s chunky applesauce, and bread of your choice for a delicious, hearty, healthy meal that’s so easy and always impresses. Try it and let me know how you like it.
Happy Eating . . .

Pork topped with pork…. can’t go wrong 🙂
Funny – but so true! In this case, it’s a winning combination. Thanks for the comment. 🙂
